With the Tariff Shield Cashback Program™, approved claims receive 100% back as store credit when the order and submitted documentation meet the program requirements.

💡 This program is designed to reduce the risk of unexpected import-related costs so you can shop more confidently. In the rare case you are charged a qualifying customs, tariff, or import fee, we cover 100% of the eligible fee as store credit after your claim is approved.

✅ Who's Eligible?

To qualify for this program, all of the following must be true:

  • Your order includes $80 or more in products shipped from China.
  • You were charged an import duty, customs fee, or tariff.
  • You submit a valid claim within 14 calendar days of delivery.
  • You provide a receipt or document showing the charge.
  • You enter the email address used at checkout and a valid order number.

✔️ Example of an eligible claim:

You placed a $92 order, with $84 worth of products shipped from China. Upon delivery, the carrier charged you a $16 import fee. You submitted a customs receipt and order number within 14 days of receiving the package. ✅ Your claim qualifies.

❌ Example of an ineligible claim:

You placed a $60 order, with $42 of it shipping from China. You were charged $12 in import fees. ❌ This order does not qualify because the value of China-shipped items is under $80.

📩 How to Submit a Claim

Use our simple online form to submit your claim.

You'll need:

  • The order number
  • The email address used at checkout
  • A copy of the customs fee receipt, payment notice, or shipping invoice

📌 Only one claim per order is accepted. Multiple claims from the same customer are permitted, provided each is associated with a unique qualifying order.

Once approved, your Tariff Shield Cashback credit will be added to your store account. You'll be notified via email. Credit is valid for 365 days from the date of issuance and can be used for up to 30% of your future order total.

1. What is the Tariff Shield Cashback Program™?

The Tariff Shield Cashback Program™ reimburses 100% of eligible import fees on qualifying China-shipped products as store credit after you submit a valid claim and the claim is approved.

2. Why might import fees be charged on some shipments?

Depending on the shipment origin, product type, carrier, and current import regulations, customs duties, tariffs, or other import-related fees may occasionally be charged by carriers or government authorities. The Tariff Shield Cashback Program helps protect eligible customers from these unexpected costs.

3. Does every order qualify?

No. Only orders with $80 or more in China-shipped products qualify, and you must submit proof of the charge within 14 calendar days of delivery.

4. Does Tariff Shield Cashback cover the entire fee I paid?

Yes. Approved claims receive store credit equal to 100% of the eligible tariff, customs duty, or import fee shown on the supporting documentation you submit.

5. What kind of credit will I receive?

You’ll receive store credit issued to your InspiredGrabs™ account for future purchases. Store credit is not paid out as cash.

6. When will I receive my credit?

Most approved claims are processed within a few business days. Processing times may vary depending on claim volume and verification requirements. We’ll notify you by email after your credit is issued.

7. What proof do I need to submit a claim?

You’ll need your order number, the checkout email, and a document showing the import fee, such as a customs receipt, payment notice, courier invoice, or similar proof. Follow the instructions on the submission form.

8. How many days do I have to submit a claim?

You must submit your claim within 14 calendar days after delivery. Late claims aren’t accepted.

9. How do I know if my items were shipped from China?

Customers are not required to determine whether their items shipped from China. We verify shipment origin using order and fulfillment records when reviewing a claim.

10. Can I claim multiple times?

Yes — one claim per eligible order. If you place multiple eligible orders and each order meets the program requirements, you may submit a claim for each qualifying order.

11. Can I use my credit on anything in the store?

Yes. Store credit can be applied sitewide on future purchases, subject to store credit rules. You can redeem up to 30% of an eligible order total per purchase using store credit.

12. How long is the credit valid?

Credits are valid for 365 days from the date of issuance.

13. What if my order includes both China- and U.S.-shipped products?

Only the portion of your order shipped from China counts toward the $80 minimum. We’ll evaluate the breakdown and approve the claim if the China-shipped portion meets or exceeds $80 and all other requirements are met.

14. Do I need an account to claim Tariff Shield Cashback? Where can I find the claim form?

Yes. An account is required so we can verify eligibility and issue store credit to your account.

If you checked out as a guest, create an account using the same email address used at checkout so your order can be reviewed properly.

15. Can a Tariff Shield Cashback claim be denied?

Yes. Claims may be denied if:

  • The order does not meet program eligibility requirements.
  • Required documentation is missing or cannot be verified.
  • The claim is submitted after the 14-day claim window.
  • The submitted information does not match the order details.
  • Fraudulent, altered, or misleading documentation is provided.
16. Will I lose a penny to tariffs when shopping with InspiredGrabs™? How does the protection work?

For qualifying orders, you are protected from eligible tariff, customs, or import fees through store credit reimbursement. If you pay a qualifying fee on China-shipped items and your claim is approved, we reimburse 100% of the eligible amount you paid as store credit.

  • Dollar-for-dollar reimbursement: We match the eligible fee amount shown on your approved documentation.
  • Store credit value: Credit is issued to your account and can be used sitewide, subject to the 30% usage cap per eligible order.
  • Usable window: Credit remains valid for 365 days from issuance.
17. Could I ever end up losing money to tariffs? What are the possible causes?

Loss is rare, but it can happen in specific situations:

  • No claim filed or filed late: Claims must be submitted within 14 calendar days of delivery with required proof.
  • Credit expired unused: Issued credits expire after 365 days.
  • Order does not meet criteria: The portion of your order shipped from China must be $80 or more.
  • Missing or invalid documentation: We need proof showing the fee paid.
  • Non-covered costs: Courier upgrades, insurance, storage, brokerage add-ons, or other non-tariff charges may not be reimbursable.
  • Fraud or mismatch: Altered documents or mismatched order information will be declined.
