🛡️ Tariff Shield Cashback Program™ – FAQs

Approved qualifying import charges reimbursed 100% as InspiredGrabs™ store credit.

Protection From Qualifying Unexpected Import Charges

The Tariff Shield Cashback Program™ provides eligible customers with InspiredGrabs™ store credit equal to 100% of an approved qualifying import duty, customs duty, or tariff-related charge associated with qualifying products shipped from China.

The program does not prevent a carrier or customs authority from collecting a charge. Instead, an eligible customer pays the qualifying charge, submits a timely claim with acceptable evidence, and receives store-credit reimbursement if the claim is approved.

Tariff Shield Cashback is not a cash refund and does not guarantee that every fee connected with an international shipment qualifies.

Core protection: Approved qualifying import charges are reimbursed dollar for dollar as InspiredGrabs™ store credit, subject to all program requirements.

Program Requirements at a Glance

$80 Order Minimum

The total order value must be at least $80.

$80 China-Shipped Minimum

The order must include at least $80 in qualifying products shipped from China.

14-Day Claim Window

The claim must be submitted within 14 calendar days after delivery.

Proof Required

Valid evidence must show the qualifying charge and payment.

✅ Who Is Eligible?

All applicable requirements must be satisfied:

  • The total order value is at least $80.
  • The order includes at least $80 in qualifying products shipped from China.
  • An import duty, customs duty, tariff, or other covered import-related charge was actually imposed and paid.
  • The charge is connected to the qualifying China-shipped portion of the order.
  • The claim is submitted within 14 calendar days after delivery.
  • The customer provides acceptable documentation showing the charge and payment.
  • The order number and checkout email match InspiredGrabs™ order records.
  • The customer has an InspiredGrabs™ account under the checkout email before credit is issued.
  • The claim and order otherwise satisfy the program rules.
Important: Meeting the dollar thresholds alone does not guarantee approval. The charge, documentation, timing, order, account, and other claim information must also qualify.

✔ Example of a Potentially Eligible Claim

You place a $92 order containing $84 in qualifying products shipped from China. A carrier later collects a documented $16 qualifying import duty. You pay the charge and submit the order information and proof within 14 calendar days after delivery.

The claim may qualify after verification and approval.

✖ Example of an Ineligible Claim

You place a $90 order, but only $42 consists of products shipped from China. A $12 import-related charge is collected.

The claim does not qualify because the China-shipped portion is below $80.

What Charges May Qualify?

A charge may qualify when it is an actual, documented import-related assessment connected to eligible China-shipped products, such as:

  • A customs duty
  • An import duty
  • A tariff imposed on the qualifying imported products
  • Another mandatory government- or carrier-collected import assessment that InspiredGrabs™ determines is covered by the program

Final coverage depends on the nature of the charge, supporting evidence, connection to the qualifying shipment, and all other program requirements.

Charges that generally do not qualify: expedited-delivery upgrades, optional insurance, storage charges, address-correction charges, forwarding-service charges, voluntary services, penalties caused by customer delay, ordinary shipping charges, taxes unrelated to importation, and brokerage or administrative add-ons that are not treated as covered import assessments.

📩 How to Submit a Claim

Use the Tariff Shield Cashback Claim Form and submit all required information within the 14-day claim window.

Prepare the following:

  • Your InspiredGrabs™ order number
  • The email address used at checkout
  • A copy of the customs receipt, carrier invoice, payment notice, or comparable document identifying the charge
  • Evidence that the qualifying charge was paid
  • Any additional information reasonably needed to connect the charge with the order or shipment

One claim per order

Only one Tariff Shield Cashback claim may be submitted for each order. If an order involves multiple qualifying shipment charges, include all available eligible charges and supporting documents in that single claim whenever possible.

A customer may submit claims for multiple orders, provided each claim concerns a different qualifying order and independently satisfies the program requirements.

Submit Your Tariff Shield Cashback Claim

Submitting a claim does not guarantee approval. The order, charge, account, timing, evidence, and other program requirements will be reviewed.

False or altered information: Fraudulent, altered, fabricated, or intentionally misleading documentation may result in denial, reversal of issued credit, loss of program eligibility, account restrictions, or other appropriate action.
1. What is the Tariff Shield Cashback Program™?

The Tariff Shield Cashback Program™ reimburses 100% of an approved eligible import duty, customs duty, tariff, or other covered import-related charge as InspiredGrabs™ store credit.

The program applies only when the order, China-shipped-product value, charge, account, evidence, timing, and other requirements are satisfied.

2. Why might an import charge be collected?

Customs authorities, government agencies, carriers, or other authorized parties may impose or collect import duties, tariffs, taxes, or related fees depending on the shipment origin, product type, classification, value, destination, carrier, and applicable rules.

These charges are determined or collected by third parties rather than InspiredGrabs™ and may not be known when checkout is completed.

3. Does every order qualify?

No. The total order must be at least $80, and the same order must include at least $80 in qualifying products shipped from China.

A qualifying charge must also have been imposed and paid, and the customer must submit acceptable proof within 14 calendar days after delivery. All other program requirements must also be satisfied.

4. Does the program reimburse the entire charge?

An approved claim receives store credit equal to 100% of the portion of the documented charge that InspiredGrabs™ determines is eligible.

If a document combines covered and non-covered charges, only the approved eligible portion is reimbursed.

5. Is an InspiredGrabs™ account required?

Yes. An InspiredGrabs™ account is required to verify eligibility, receive the approved store credit, view the balance, and redeem it.

If you originally checked out as a guest, create an account using the same email address used at checkout before submitting the claim. Creating the account does not guarantee that the order or claim qualifies.

6. What proof must I provide?

Submit the order number, checkout email, documentation identifying the import-related charge, and evidence that the charge was paid.

Acceptable evidence may include a customs receipt, carrier invoice, payment notice, shipping invoice, or comparable record that can be connected to the qualifying order or shipment.

InspiredGrabs™ may request additional information when the submitted evidence is incomplete, unclear, combined with unrelated charges, or cannot be matched to the order.

7. How long do I have to submit a claim?

The complete claim must be submitted within 14 calendar days after delivery.

For an order delivered in multiple shipments, the relevant date is the delivery date of the shipment associated with the claimed charge.

Late claims may be denied.

8. How do I know whether products were shipped from China?

You do not need to make the final determination yourself. InspiredGrabs™ reviews available order and fulfillment records to determine which products were shipped from China and the applicable value of that portion.

9. What if the order includes both China- and U.S.-shipped products?

The total order must be at least $80, and the portion consisting of qualifying China-shipped products must independently equal at least $80.

U.S.-shipped products may count toward the total order value but do not count toward the separate $80 China-shipped-product requirement.

10. Can I submit more than one claim?

Only one claim is accepted per order. Include all claimed eligible charges and supporting records for that order in the same submission whenever possible.

You may submit separate claims for separate qualifying orders.

11. When will I receive the store credit?

Store credit is issued after the claim has been reviewed and approved.

Processing time depends on claim volume, documentation completeness, verification requirements, responses to requests for additional information, and other relevant circumstances. A specific processing time is not guaranteed.

You will be notified after a decision or credit issuance when applicable.

12. How can approved Tariff Shield Cashback credit be used?

Approved Tariff Shield Cashback is issued to your InspiredGrabs™ store-credit balance.

  • The eligible future order amount must meet the applicable $80 minimum.
  • Store credit may cover up to 30% of an eligible future order.
  • The remaining balance, including applicable shipping, taxes, excluded amounts, and the portion above the limit, must be paid using another accepted payment method.
  • The credit expires 365 days after issuance.
  • The credit is non-transferable and has no cash value.
  • The credit cannot be withdrawn or exchanged for cash.

Access and apply the credit through the Store Credit feature in your InspiredGrabs™ customer account.

13. How is Tariff Shield Cashback different from Digital Loyalty Cash?

Tariff Shield Cashback is reimbursement store credit issued after an eligible customer pays a qualifying import-related charge and receives claim approval.

Digital Loyalty Cash is reward store credit earned through eligible purchase activity under that program’s rules.

Both use the InspiredGrabs™ store-credit system, but they are earned or issued for different reasons.

For Digital Loyalty Cash earning, issuance, and redemption rules, review the Digital Loyalty Cash – FAQs.

14. Why might a claim be denied?

A claim may be denied when:

  • The total order value is below $80.
  • The qualifying China-shipped portion is below $80.
  • The charge is not covered by the program.
  • The charge was not paid or cannot be verified.
  • Required evidence is missing, unclear, or cannot be matched to the order.
  • The claim is submitted after the applicable 14-day deadline.
  • The order, email, account, shipment, or documentation does not match.
  • More than one claim is submitted for the same order.
  • The submitted information is false, altered, fabricated, misleading, or incomplete.
  • The claim otherwise fails to satisfy the program requirements.
15. Can approved credit later be adjusted or reversed?

Tariff Shield Cashback credit may be adjusted, reversed, withheld, or removed when necessary to:

  • Correct an error or duplicate issuance
  • Reflect a refund, return, cancellation, chargeback, or order adjustment affecting eligibility
  • Address evidence that is later found to be invalid or misleading
  • Respond to suspected fraud, abuse, manipulation, or misuse
  • Enforce the applicable claim, account, or store-credit rules
16. Does the program guarantee that I will never bear an import-related cost?

No. The program reimburses only approved eligible charges as store credit and remains subject to the claim deadline, documentation requirements, dollar thresholds, covered-charge definition, account requirement, and other program rules.

A customer may bear some or all of a charge when:

  • No claim is submitted.
  • The claim is late, incomplete, or denied.
  • The order or China-shipped portion is below the required value.
  • The charge is not covered.
  • The charge or payment cannot be verified.
  • The issued credit expires before use.
  • The customer does not place an eligible future order on which the credit can be redeemed.
  • The 30% redemption limit prevents all credit from being used on a single order.
17. What if I use an international forwarding service?

Orders involving a forwarding service remain subject to the Tariff Shield Cashback requirements and the separate International Forwarding & Rewards Policy.

Forwarding-service charges, storage fees, consolidation fees, optional insurance, address-correction charges, and similar service costs do not automatically qualify as covered import charges.

Review the International Forwarding & Rewards Policy before relying on program eligibility.
