Above all, we advise always having a detail-oriented friend to help you carefully take measurements to ensure accuracy. With the measurements, you can check our sizing chart on the item's product page or the image gallery to determine the correct size.
1. Measure your pupillary distance
Pupillary distance measures the distance between the pupil centers. It's an important measurement when buying eyewear, and it's essential to ensure the glasses are placed prominently in the eyes. Use a measuring tape against a mirror to measure your PD by placing one tip in the center of one pupil, stretching it across the bridge of your nose, and marking the endpoint directly in front of the other pupil. Record this distance in millimeters.
2. Measure the bridge width
The bridge width is the distance between the two lenses, where the frame sits on the nose. Use a ruler to measure the distance between the two lenses' inner edges. You can check the measurements on eyeglasses you own that fit well, or you can use a ruler to measure your nose's width at the base between the eyes.
3. Measure the frame width
The frame width refers to the total width of the eyeglasses from one end to the other horizontally. It's an associated measurement of the face's and the glasses' widths. Use a ruler to measure the distance between the hinges of the eyeglasses, also known as the temple-to-temple measurement.
4. Measure the temple length
The temple length is the distance between the bend at the temple and the ear's top. It's essential because it influences how glasses sit on the head and ears. Use a ruler to measure this distance, usually 120-150 mm.
5. Consider the frame style
The final step in measuring women's eyewear is considering the frame style. By identifying the frame style, you can determine the best fit and size of eyewear for your face shape, width, bridge measurements, and temple length. If you aim to buy the latest eyewear fashion, remember that the current dominating trend is more significant and bolder.
